Google's 'Now on Tap' feature was introduced this year in Android 6.0 Marshmallow version,gets a new update and now offering more services. If you are looking for movie timings on an app currently and want additional information related to it, you just have to long press the home screen button and Google will provide you with additional information on movie timings, bookings, etc without leaving the app you are on.
Now on Tap is a feature of Android 6.0 Marshmallow that brings up the relevant information of the content you are viewing on your smartphone screen. For instance, while listening to music or using e-mail, a long press on home button will bring up the information related to the artist name or the sender and the content of the respective e-mail.
And with the latest update, Now on Tap update can be used to track flights and packages from your e-mail itself. You just need to select the tracking number and the feature will show you significant information about the same. This can really enhance the Android experience as it saves the time we spend on tapping and shifting from one screen to another.
The feature can also show relevant information while you are reading news. You just need to tap on a particular news article and Now on Tap will display the content related to the events of a news articles such as personalities name, location and other related information. The update also brings a new screenshot feature, which can be activated from the share icon present on the bottom left corner.
And last but not the least, Now on Tap now supports French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, and Korean languages and Google also mentioned that it will soon be adding support for more languages.
