SAMSUNG SMARTPHONES WILL NOT GET ANDROID 6.0 UPDATE ANYTIME SOON

Samsung's flagsip devices The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ were originally supposed to receive the Android 6.0 update in December 2015.
A new revelation has now found that Samsung will only be updating the Galaxy Note 5 in December, while devices like the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge as well as the Galaxy S6 edge+ will have to wait until January 2016 for the update. The Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge will receive the coveted Marshmallow update by February 2016.
The data was provided by a leaked document, which seems to have stemmed directly from Samsung. Much to our surprise, the Galaxy S5 from 2014 will have to wait until April 2016 to receive the update while the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3 are yet to get approval, which tells us that the company might take its sweet time to update the devices, or not at all.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is supposed to be getting the update in April 2016, while the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is still waiting approval. The two devices are listed under Phase 2 of the update, which could hit the devices sometime after Q2 of 2016. The Galaxy A and Galaxy E series of smartphones are also listed under Phase 2 of Samsung's update schedule.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and the Galaxy Tab A8 is listed under Phase 3 with the updates still waiting for approval, so it's safe to assume that they won't be updated anytime soon.
