Amazon Kindle reader is very popular globally and has been available in India for quite some time now. The company released the 6-inch model last year carrying touchscreen support and a moderate price tag. However, this version was only available in Black.
Amazon has now launched the model with a White body, thus offering users an additional option when looking purchase the budget e-reader. The pricing remains unchanged at Rs 5,999.
Surprisingly, the Kindle Paperwhite as well as the Voyage are only sold in Black at the moment, although we hope to see that changing soon.
For those still unaware with the concept, Kindle allows you to carry the entire library of eBooks in your backpack. It comes with an incredible battery life of 4 weeks, so this can be your perfect companion for weekend getaways and vacations.
All content will be downloaded wirelessly over WiFi and does not need a connection with the computer. There's no LED backlight available here, so you will need luminance to read content on the device.
It comes with 4GB of storage on board, letting you carry thousands of books at once while you can also try out Amazon's Kindle Unlimited service which gives you access to unlimited books at a nominal subscription fee starting at Rs 199 per month
